Wyaconda

Our first location, which opened in 1904, is in Wyaconda, MO.  We moved into the current building in 1920 after a fire destroyed the original building.  Gerth Funeral Service is Wyaconda's oldest business and is a full service funeral home.  The facility was remodeled in 1994 and has a covered walk way, a large parlor, coffee area, and a nondenominational chapel.  The funeral home is adjacent to two restaurants and walking distance from Wyaconda's churches.

Memphis

This building at 115 S. Main in Memphis, MO, is the longest continuous operating funeral home in Memphis.   Fred Gerth purchased the former John H. Mulch and Son funeral home in 1930.  The facility was remodled in 1992 to include a full service parlor and chapel, along with a children's room and coffee corner.   Located in downtown Memphis, the continental style building has a long permanent awning with ample parking and lighting.
