ZELA REYNOLDS
1907-2008

Zela M. Reynolds, 100, of Rutledge, MO, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2008, at the Scotland County Care Center in Memphis.

The daughter of Edward Patrick and Prudie Caroline (Trickett) Howard, she was born on November 4, 1907, in Scotland County, MO, the youngest of a family of eleven. She spent her entire life in Scotland County, MO., and had lived in Rutledge since October 1935.

Zela attended the Union School.  She was married to Ornal Oren Reynolds of Rutledge, MO, on June 22, 1932.  To this union two daughters were born: Doris Caroline and Neva Maye. He preceded her in death March 17, 1976.

She was a member of the Rutledge Baptist Church and a 4H Club leader for ten years. Zela was also proud to be a member of the Rutledge Fire Department.

Preceding her in death were her parents; an infant brother; four sisters, Goldie Howard, Allie Rugh, Ora Erickson, and Cleo McNeely; and five brothers, Arthur, Elmer, Eddie, Carl, and Charley Howard.

Survivors include two daughters; Doris Armstrong of Marshall, MO and Neva and husband Nolan Corwin of Morris, IL; grandchildren, Bernard Corwin, Larry and wife Maria Corwin, Pamela Ward and husband Steve, Connie Enger, Leah Eiserer and husband Alan, and Marla Erickson and husband Rick; greatgrandchildren, Angeline and Natalie Corwin, Tina, Keith and Tyler Corwin, Gregory, Brian and Melissa Ward; Matthew and Karly Enger, and Spencer Shannon; and five great great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 8, 2008, at the Rutledge Baptist Church in Rutledge, MO, with Steve Jarvis officiating.  Visitation was on Saturday, March 8^th from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the service in the Rutledge Baptist Church. Burial was in the Pauline Cemetery in Rutledge, MO.
